Luther Davies and Paul Macdonald are the Acoustic Crusaders, playing originals and some classic pop and rock tunes at their second show at Gorge-ous. Local talent you may spot at an open mic around town--great fun!

Riley Whittaker is a 14 year old pop-folk singer-songwriter & musician from Sedona, Arizona. She plays her originals and a wide range of covers from The Lumineers, Coldplay, Jack Johnson, Tom Petty, The Beatles, Ed Sheeran, Johnny Cash and more. Her amazing, ethereal sounding vocals are beyond her years and instantly recognizable, lending a unique style to her music.

She has written over 30 original songs and plays multiple instruments. Come out for a lovely summer Saturday morning music at Gorge-ous to see this young talent for yourself.

Alex is a mind reading mentalist. This isn’t your ordinary magic show with colourful balls and rabbits; a mentalist will show you just how predictable chance, probability, and the human brain can be!

A psychology student in Victoria, Alex performs modern renditions of Mentalism.
An evening of readings and influencing participants will ensue.

Brittany Jean is a singer/songwriter in the Pacific Northwest, currently living in the tiny, apple town of Brewster, Washington. Her style is rooted in the folk and country music she has loved all her life. In one way or another, every slice-of-life song she sings is a love song. During the past few years, her performances have ventured further and further from home—opening for Three Dog Night in New York City, playing the legendary Bluebird Cafe in Nashville… to name a few adventures! Her song "Then You Don't Know Me" (from 2018 album "Wander With Me" was a finalist in the International Acoustic Music Awards in January 2019! With songs about being brave and standing tall to songs about learning to dance again, Brittany’s acoustic and heartfelt music is an invitation—won’t you wander with her?

Beautiful Luck is Sue Black (guitar, vocals) and Carl Lefebvre (ukulele, vocals). With their love of harmony BL perform songs from pop, rock, country and folk genres. From ballads to toe tappers to dance tunes, something for everybody. With Brad Hawkes.

Barcelona-based Canadian singer-songwriter Katou presents Spirit Rubble, a new repertory of original songs about the spirit yearning for freedom, communion, and finding its own little place in the grand scheme of things. For the last 15 years, songwriting has accompanied her as a kind of diary. Inspired by wandering balladeers, she began living her dream of singing on the street 10 years ago, first playing her own music, then collaborating in different projects. From 2012-2017, she sang in the group Radio Fanjul, performing old, popular songs from around the world and recording 3 albums. After a few years' break from songwriting, Katou returns to give voice to Spirit Rubble.

A local favourite, Dave Gallant is a “fine singer/songwriter and interpreter of other songwriters’ music. He has a rich voice and engaging delivery.” (from davegallant.com) He also co-hosts a monthly music event in nearby Metchosin – check out the Metchosin Society for Music and Creativity!

As a self-taught musician, Sue Hansen has spent much of her life singing and playing music. Born and raised in Vancouver,  out of high school, she created and traveled extensively with  bands and trios, sharing her joy of music with audiences throughout BC and periodically across the borders. Sue has lately performed with simpler expression as a soloist, playing memorable songs from the 60s through the 80s, in more intimate venues around home in beautiful Victoria.

LENOIRE is a Montreal indie rythm’n’blues trio formed in 2016 in New Orleans, while its members roamed the streets. Ensuing the Mardi Gras celebration, they composed and recorded their first EP under the sky of Louisiana.
Since then, the band has been performing for over two years on the Montreal scene and has previously released another EP and a first album “Satisfaction”.
On stage, LENOIRE is distinguished by its fun, high energy chemistry, its sinuous vocal harmonies and its bold performances.

The Herbicidal Maniacs is made up of “Guitar Bill” and singer-songwriter Steve. Popular in the local music scene and at festivals and markets, this duo plays originals and covers.
